I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you to Netgalley & Harper Collins UK (One More Chapter)! High school enemies Posey Edwins and Lucas O’Rourke reunite at their ten year class reunion. Both are struggling financially. Lucas needs a big new investor to keep his business afloat and Posey’s wealthy father has finally cut her off. Posey approaches Lucas with the scheme of a fake wedding/marriage as a way to help them both. Posey will look more responsible and Lucas can gain a wealthy client in Posey’s father. The Reunion is a fun twist on the fake dating trope. Posey and Lucas are at odds all through school but slowly begin to realize they may not be so different after all. Both have goals and ambitions for the future. Both are loyal to their families even when their family members seem to not be on their side. I really liked the final chapter and epilogue. I do wish that the author would have included more flashbacks to Posey and Lucas’ school days. I think it would add some further insight into their dynamic.
